Cross-platform development

Reach Android, iOS and the web without building everything three times

Cross-platform done right means one team, one roadmap and consistent quality everywhere. The key is choosing the right approach for your app.

Overview

What we do

There are three sensible ways to reach users on several platforms: separate native apps, a cross-platform framework such as Flutter, or a progressive web app. Each has real trade-offs in cost, performance and reach.

Most of our cross-platform work is in Flutter, which gives near-native performance from one codebase. The comparison below is the one we walk clients through before recommending anything.

Flutter apps

Our main cross-platform stack, covering Android, iOS and web from one codebase. See our Flutter page for details.

Progressive web apps

Installable, offline-capable web apps for when an app store isn’t needed.

Shared backend

One API and admin panel serving your app, website and partners.

Migration

Move from two native codebases, or from ageing hybrid tools, to one modern stack.

FAQ

Cross-Platform Development: common questions

Which cross-platform framework do you use?

Flutter, for most projects. It gives the most consistent results on Android and iOS, and we build and publish our own apps with it.

Will a cross-platform app look the same on Android and iOS?

It can look identical or adapt to each platform’s conventions. We decide together, screen by screen.
