Overview

What we do

Apple users expect apps that feel native: the right gestures, Dynamic Type, dark mode, haptics and privacy prompts that explain themselves. We build with Swift and SwiftUI and follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, so your app belongs on the platform.

On iPad we design for the big screen rather than stretching a phone layout: sidebars, multiple columns, Apple Pencil, keyboard shortcuts and multitasking. That matters for the catalogues, point-of-sale, forms, training and field tools iPads run all day. If you also need Android, we’ll tell you honestly whether native apps or one Flutter codebase is the better investment.

iPhone & iPad apps

Native Swift and SwiftUI apps: universal for both devices, or designed iPad-first.

iPad layouts & multitasking

Sidebars, split views, Stage Manager, keyboard shortcuts and external displays.

Apple Pencil & iOS design

Sketching, annotation and signatures with PencilKit, plus accessibility and dark mode.

Privacy & security

Keychain, Face ID, App Tracking Transparency and privacy manifests handled correctly.

In-app purchases

StoreKit subscriptions and one-off purchases, with receipt validation.

App Store & private distribution

TestFlight betas and App Store review, or private staff apps via Apple Business Manager and MDM.

FAQ

iOS & iPad App Development: common questions

Do I need a Mac or an Apple developer account?

You need an Apple Developer Program membership so the app is published under your name. We handle everything else, including builds, signing and TestFlight.

Should we build for iPhone, iPad or both?

For customer-facing apps, a universal app that adapts properly to both is usually right. If your users are staff on shared iPads, an iPad-only app keeps things simple.

What if Apple rejects the app?

We design around the review guidelines from the start, which prevents most rejections. If a reviewer raises an issue, we fix it and resubmit as part of the project.

Can you distribute an app privately to our staff?

Yes. Internal iPhone and iPad apps can be distributed through Apple Business Manager or your MDM, without a public App Store listing.
