These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Android application PDF Master Toolkit: PDF
Tools (package name com.novaradix.doc.pdfreader) (the "App"), provided by
NovaRadix Technology ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree
to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. License to use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes. You may not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sublicense the App;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- remove or alter any proprietary notices, or interfere with ads or the App's security features;
- use the App in any way that is unlawful, harmful or violates these Terms.
3. What the App does
The App lets you read PDF files; scan documents; convert images to PDF and PDF pages to images; merge, split, organize, rotate, delete and extract pages; compress PDFs; add or remove password protection; add watermarks and page numbers; and manage files on your device. Features may be added, changed or removed over time.
4. Your content and responsibilities
You keep all rights to the documents, scans and images you use with the App ("Your Content"). We do not claim any ownership of Your Content and, because processing happens on your device, we do not receive it.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the necessary rights to view, copy, convert, modify, protect or unlock it. In particular:
- use the Unlock PDF and password tools only for documents you own or are authorized to change;
- do not use the App to infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights, to bypass protections you are not entitled to remove, or to create, alter or distribute fraudulent or forged documents;
- comply with all laws that apply to your documents and their use.
5. Outputs and backups
Tools create new files and do not overwrite your original documents. Results can vary depending on the source file: some PDFs may use features that cannot be opened, converted or processed, and compression cannot reduce the size of every file. Always keep a copy of important documents before making changes. You are responsible for backing up your files and for remembering passwords you add, as we cannot recover them.
6. Advertising and third-party services
The App is free to use and displays ads served by Google AdMob. The App also relies on third-party services such as Google Play services (including the ML Kit Document Scanner), the Google Play In-App Review API, the Android photo picker, and share and print services you choose. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, including the Google Terms of Service. We are not responsible for third-party services, ads or content, or for any dealings between you and advertisers.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, name and logos, is owned by NovaRadix Technology or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Open-source components included in the App are licensed under their respective licenses. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
8. Updates and availability
We may release updates to improve the App, fix issues or meet legal and platform requirements. Some updates may be required to keep using the App. We may suspend or discontinue the App, or any feature, at any time without liability.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that every file will open, convert or process correctly, or that the App will meet your requirements.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NovaRadix Technology and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, documents, profits, revenue or business, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free App is zero.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws.
11. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless NovaRadix Technology from any claims, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your license to use the App if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 7, 9, 10, 11 and 14) will survive.
13. Google Play
The App is distributed through Google Play. Your download and use are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. If these Terms conflict with Google Play's terms regarding distribution, Google Play's terms apply to that extent.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law in your country of residence provides otherwise. Any dispute will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
