Pics Creation: Photo Editor

Privacy Policy

Pics Creation is a photo editing app. It turns photos you already have into artwork. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app touches on your device, what it keeps, and the one third party it talks to.

The short version. Your photos never leave your device. We do not have a server, we do not have an account system, and we cannot see anything you make. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google's advertising service collects in order to show ads, and you control that through your device settings.

1. Who we are

This policy covers the Android application Pics Creation (package com.pics.image.creation), referred to below as “the app”. In this document, “we” means the app's publisher and “you” means the person using it.

2. Photos and media

The app does not request permission to browse your photo library. When you tap “Create from photo”, Android's own file picker opens and you choose one or more images. The app receives only the images you picked and has no access to anything else.

What happens to a photo you pick

  • A copy is saved into the app's private storage on your device, so a project you save today still opens tomorrow.
  • All editing — effects, filters, crops, collages, text — runs entirely on your device, using its own processor and graphics chip.
  • Nothing is uploaded. There is no cloud processing, no remote rendering, and no backup of your images to us or to anyone else.

What happens when you export

Exported images are written to your device's public picture library, in a folder named Pictures/Pics Creation, using Android's MediaStore. From that point they are ordinary photos on your phone. If you then choose to share one, Android's share sheet hands it to whichever app you select — that app's own privacy policy governs what happens next.

Deleting your data

Deleting a project inside the app removes its saved settings and preview. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored privately, including imported copies of your photos. Images you exported to Pictures/Pics Creation are yours and are deliberately left alone — delete them from your gallery if you want them gone.

3. Permissions the app uses

PermissionWhy
INTERNET
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
To request and display ads. Every editing feature works with no connection at all.
AD_ID Lets Google's ads service use your device's advertising identifier. You can reset or delete this identifier in your Android settings at any time.
VIBRATE Short haptic feedback when you select a tool. Can be switched off in Settings.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Android 9 and older only
Needed to save an exported image on older versions of Android. On Android 10 and newer the app requests no storage permission whatsoever.

The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, calendar, call logs, or messages, and it has no code that would use them.

4. Data stored on your device

All of this stays on your phone. None of it is transmitted anywhere.

  • Projects — the settings that describe a creation (which effect, which layout, the text you typed) and a small preview image.
  • Imported photos — private copies of images you picked.
  • Preferences — theme, accent colour, export defaults, whether haptics are on.
  • Favourites — which effects you starred.
  • Caches — small effect previews, regenerated as needed.

5. Advertising

The free version of the app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). AdMob is a third party and collects data under its own privacy policy, not ours. Depending on your settings and region, it may collect your advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, and interaction with ads, in order to serve and measure advertising.

Your choices

  • Reset or delete your advertising ID: Settings → Privacy → Ads on most Android devices.
  • Where required by law, you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change that choice later.
  • Watching a rewarded ad is always optional. It temporarily unlocks premium content and is never required to use the app.

6. Analytics

This version of the app does not send analytics or usage data to us or to any analytics provider. Some anonymous, aggregated statistics — installs, crashes, ratings — are provided to the publisher by Google Play itself, as they are for every app on the store. If a future version adds analytics, this policy will be updated before that version is released.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will act on it.

8. Security

Because your photos and projects stay in the app's private storage on your own device, they are protected by Android's own app sandbox and by whatever screen lock and encryption your device uses. No account, password, or payment information is collected by the app.

9. Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights over personal data held about you. Because the app holds your content only on your device and we hold none of it, you exercise most of those rights directly: view your data in the app, delete a project, or uninstall to remove everything. For data collected by Google's advertising services, please use Google's own controls linked above, or contact us and we will help where we can.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top will change with it, and material changes will be described in the app's release notes on Google Play.
