Privacy Policy
Nova Office Editor is an offline office suite. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Your documents
- Documents you open, create or edit are processed only on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to any server.
- The app reads a file only when you open it, pick it, or share it to the app from another app. Access to folders you add can be removed at any time in the app or in Android settings.
- Private working copies, recovery copies of unsaved changes and temporary exports are stored in the app's private storage and can be cleared in Settings. They are deleted when you uninstall the app.
- Files leave your device only when you choose to share, print or open them with another app.
Information we collect
We (Novaradix Technology) do not collect, store or sell personal information. The app has no account, sign-in, analytics or crash-reporting service of its own. Settings and the list of recent files are stored only on your device.
Advertising
The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information such as the advertising ID, device and app information, approximate location derived from the IP address, and ad interaction data, to show and measure ads and prevent fraud. This is governed by Google's policies:
Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and some US states), the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google's consent tool. You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.
Permissions
- Internet and network state – only to load ads.
- The app does not request storage, camera, contacts or location permissions. Pictures for Scan to PDF are taken with your camera app or chosen from your gallery, and only the pictures you choose are shared with Nova Office Editor.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
Files are processed locally. Files opened from other apps are copied into private storage while you edit them, and saves are verified before the original is replaced.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
