Ayurvedic Remedies

Privacy Policy

  • Effective date: 1 October 2026
  • Applies to version 3.0.0 and later
  • Live on Google Play

This Privacy Policy explains how Ayurvedic Remedies (package name com.ayurvadic.home.remedies), published by NovaRadix Technology, handles information. Ayurvedic Remedies is an offline reference guide to Ayurvedic home remedies for 34 common health problems. It has no user accounts and does not send your reading activity to us.

The short version
  • All content is on your device: The list of conditions, overviews, remedies, herbs and do's and don'ts are stored in a database bundled inside the app. You can read everything offline.
  • No account, no sign-in: We never ask for your name, email, phone number or location.
  • Almost nothing is saved: The app keeps only two small technical values on your device (whether it has been opened before, and when the last full-screen ad was shown). They are never uploaded to us.
  • We don't see what you look up: Searches, category filters and the conditions you read about are not logged or sent anywhere.
  • Free, with ads: The app shows Google AdMob ads. Google may process device identifiers and technical data to serve and measure ads, subject to your consent where the law requires it.

1. Who we are and what the app does

NovaRadix Technology ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile app developer based in Gujarat, India, and the publisher and data controller for Ayurvedic Remedies.

Ayurvedic Remedies lets you:

  • browse, search and filter by category (such as Skin & Hair, Digestion or Pain Relief) a list of 34 common health problems;
  • read an Ayurvedic overview of each condition, with its remedies, herbs, causes, symptoms and do's and don'ts;
  • enlarge or reduce the reading text size on detail pages;
  • share a condition's overview or a remedy's text through an app you choose.

All of this content ships inside the app. The app does not connect to any NovaRadix server; internet access is used only for advertising, the ad-consent form, and links you choose to open.

2. Medical disclaimer

The information in Ayurvedic Remedies is for general educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified doctor. Ayurvedic and herbal remedies can cause side effects or interact with medicines. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any remedy, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

This disclaimer is always available on the app's About Us screen.

3. Information stored on your device

Ayurvedic Remedies keeps a very small amount of information in its private storage on your device (the Android "app sandbox"). Other apps cannot read it, and none of it is sent to NovaRadix Technology.

InformationWhere it is storedWhyHow to remove it
First-launch flag App preferences file Remembers that the app has been opened before, so no app-open ad is shown the very first time you open it. Clear app storage, or uninstall.
Time of the last full-screen ad App preferences file Keeps full-screen ads at least 2 minutes apart, even if you close and reopen the app. Clear app storage, or uninstall.
Remedy content Database bundled with the app The conditions, remedies and herbs you read. It contains no information about you. Removed when you uninstall.
Ad consent choice Stored on your device by Google's User Messaging Platform Remembers the choice you made in the ad-consent form, where one is shown (see section 6). Change it via Privacy Settings in the app menu, clear app storage, or uninstall.

The count of screens opened since the last interstitial ad and your chosen text size are kept only in memory while the app is running and are discarded when it closes.

4. Information we do not collect

NovaRadix Technology does not collect, receive or store:

  • Personal details: name, email address, phone number, postal address or any government ID.
  • Account data: there are no accounts, passwords or social sign-ins.
  • Health information: we do not record which conditions, remedies or herbs you search for or read.
  • Location, contacts or media: the app does not access GPS location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, SMS, photos or your files.
  • Our own analytics or crash reporting: the app contains no NovaRadix analytics, tracking or crash-reporting service.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Ayurvedic Remedies is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC and, for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited), using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. The app shows:

  • Banner ads at the bottom of the main list and the detail screens;
  • Interstitial (full-screen) ads occasionally when you open a new screen, at most once every three screens and never within 2 minutes of the previous full-screen ad. The new screen opens as soon as you close the ad;
  • App-open ads only while the app is starting. They are never shown when you return to the app after switching away, never on the very first launch, and never within 2 minutes of the previous full-screen ad.

To serve, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

  • Device identifiers: the Android Advertising ID and app-set ID, where available and permitted;
  • Device and app information: device model, operating system version, language, screen size, network type and carrier, app name and version;
  • IP address: used to estimate coarse location (country or city level, never precise GPS location);
  • Ad interactions and diagnostics: ad requests, impressions, clicks and performance or error data.

This processing is carried out by Google under its own policies. Whether ads are personalised depends on your consent choice and your device settings. For details, see:

7. Sharing and external links

  • Sharing a remedy: When you tap Share, the app prepares the text of that condition's overview or remedy, plus the app's Google Play link, and hands it to the app you choose in Android's share menu. The text goes only to the app and people you choose; NovaRadix Technology does not receive it. What happens next is governed by that app's privacy policy.
  • Share App / Rate App: These open Android's share menu with the app's Google Play link, or open Ayurvedic Remedies' Google Play page. When you press Back on the main screen, the exit dialog also offers Rate Us, which opens Google Play.
  • About Us link: The Visit Novaradix button opens our website in your browser, which has its own privacy policy.

8. Android permissions

Ayurvedic Remedies uses only normal, install-time permissions. It never asks for runtime permissions such as camera, microphone, location, contacts, phone, SMS or storage. Apart from INTERNET, which the app declares itself, these permissions are added automatically by the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Other permissions that the SDK's libraries would normally add, such as READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE, are removed from the app because they are not needed.

PermissionTypePurpose
android.permission.INTERNET Normal (install-time) Lets the Google Mobile Ads SDK load ads and Google's consent form. All remedy content works without internet.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Normal (install-time) Lets the ads SDK check whether a network connection is available before requesting ads.
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID Normal (install-time) Lets the ads SDK read the Android Advertising ID (Android 13 and later) for ad frequency limits, measurement and, where you allow it, personalised ads.
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK Normal (install-time) Used by Android's WorkManager library inside the ads SDK to finish short background tasks, such as sending ad measurement data, reliably. It does not keep your screen on.

9. Data retention and deletion

Information stored on your device stays there until you remove it. NovaRadix Technology holds no personal data from the app on any server, so there is nothing for us to retain.

Delete data on your device

  • Clear everything: open Settings → Apps → Ayurvedic Remedies → Storage & cache → Clear storage. This deletes the app's preferences and your saved ad-consent choice.
  • Uninstall: uninstalling Ayurvedic Remedies deletes all of its data from your device.

Deletion requests

If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, or want confirmation that we hold no data about you:

  1. Email novaradix@gmail.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request – Ayurvedic Remedies”.
  2. Tell us the email address you contacted us from, if any, and what you would like deleted or confirmed.
  3. We acknowledge requests within 7 business days and complete them within 30 days, then confirm by email.

Advertising data processed by Google is retained under Google's policies. You can manage or delete it through Google My Ad Center and your Google account.

10. Security

  • On-device storage: the app's preferences live in Android's private app storage, protected by the device's sandboxing, screen lock and encryption.
  • Encrypted connections: network traffic from the Google Mobile Ads SDK uses HTTPS (TLS), and links the app opens use HTTPS.
  • No server database: because the app has no accounts and sends us no personal data, there is no NovaRadix database that could be breached.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Keeping your device updated and protected with a screen lock helps keep your information safe.

11. Children's privacy

Ayurvedic Remedies is a general-audience reference app and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact novaradix@gmail.com and we will delete it.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, California's CCPA/CPRA and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 may give you rights to:

  • access personal data about you, or confirm that none is held;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • delete your data (see section 9);
  • restrict or object to processing, including personalised advertising;
  • withdraw consent at any time via Privacy Settings in the app menu, without affecting earlier processing;
  • opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising, under US state laws, by using your consent choices and Android ad settings; we never sell personal information ourselves;
  • not be discriminated against for exercising your rights; and
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis for personalised advertising is your consent; for non-personalised ads, fraud prevention and ad measurement it is our legitimate interest in funding a free app. To exercise any right, email novaradix@gmail.com.

13. International processing

NovaRadix Technology is based in India. Google may process advertising data in the United States and other countries where it or its partners operate, using safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as described in Google's policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes or when laws or our advertising partners' requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. For significant changes we may also give notice in the app or in the Google Play release notes. Continuing to use Ayurvedic Remedies after an update means you accept the revised policy.
